Bismillaah, walhamdulilaah, wa-salaatu wassalaamu 'alaa rasoolillaah,
As salaamu alaykum wa rahmatullah Akhwaat,
In this email I have included some illustrations of the current Masjid Project of Masjid As Sahaaba Columbus Oh. We are very excited about this project and would love to give you an oppurtunity to share it with us.
Masjid As Sahaba currently has classes every night after margrib, weekly telelinks with the mashaykh and students, as well as a weekend arabic and quraan school for the children, (however there is not enough room to accommodate all of the children at once so the instructors must conduct the classes in two sessions during the day.) If there is a telelink during the day on the weekend it must be conducted from one of the homes and listened to via phone or paltalk due to lack of space. The brothers, barakAllaahu Feekum work very hard to spread the dawah and maashaAllaah we have outgrown the available space in our current Masjid, Tabarak Allaah.
The brothers have just purchased a new building which is 10-15 times bigger than the current Masjid, and need your support to finish the project. Our goal is to be into the new Masjid by the first of Ramadaan. Finishing the project entails the purchasing of 2 houses adjacent to the masjid which sit on 4 plots of land. These houses alone have more space than the entirety of our current masjid and will be used for additional parking. It also includes repairs that need to be in and outside of the masjid such as heating, cooling, plumbing, etc.
